I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 13 years of experience working with families, infants, toddlers, older children and teens in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. My passion has always been working with children and their families.
I obtained my educational requirements at the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada) which led me to obtain a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree (with honors) at the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University (Toronto). I completed a one year intensive internship at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) before moving to San Francisco. There, I worked as a general medicine dietitian at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital (Oakland) before launching my private practice in 2014. I have provided numerous classes and workshops in the community, including schools and pediatric medical offices.
Baby Steps Nutrition offers individualized nutrition consulting and counselling services to children ages birth-21 years with a variety of medical conditions and health issues/concerns. I work very closely with families- from an initial comprehensive screening to individualized planning and ongoing assessment.
I practice my nutrition philosophy in my own home raising two young children. While I understand the challenges that caregivers face today in all aspects of child rearing, I believe strong, reliable personal and professional support can make a world of difference easing concerns and uncertainty.
